Rob Deutsch Bio

Rob Deutsch is a jazz guitarist based in New York City. He has just released his new recording, Reflections. His prior recording Somewhere Else was released in 2012, and subsequently reviewed and featured in an NPR internet radio "new artist" review. While focused on guitar, Rob also plays piano and played tenor sax for 20 years...

Rob is a latecomer to the NY jazz scene, having worked in the finance industry for over 25 years. During that period he always stayed connected to the jazz world, playing gigs on occasion and always maintaining his musical interests, including composition.

Rob has studied with numerous jazz luminaries, having attended The New School for Contemporary Jazz and studied classical composition at The Juilliard School.
